Public Education Reform
As a parent of four children who attended Wisconsin's public schools, I've witnessed firsthand the profound impact of quality education on students, teachers, and families. That's why I'm deeply committed to improving our education system and expanding opportunities for all. I will advocate for increased school funding, smaller class sizes, support for teachers, parental resources, and broader access to employment training and higher education. As a proud graduate of UW-Madison, I understand the value of a world-class education and am dedicated to ensuring that every student has access to the same opportunities. With my experience on various education-focused committees, I'm ready to champion policies that provide every child in Wisconsin with exceptional education, preparing them for success in the 21st century.

INCREASED FUNDING
I am committed to allocating more state funding to public schools to enhance infrastructure, hire qualified teachers, and provide essential resources like textbooks, technology, and classroom materials. Additionally, I will advocate for implementing a transparent budgeting system to ensure that funds are distributed efficiently and equitably, benefiting all schools across the state. By prioritizing education funding and ensuring accountability in resource allocation, we can create an environment where every student has access to the resources and support they need to succeed.

EQUITABLE RESOURCE DISTRIBUTION
I am dedicated to creating policies that guarantee fair distribution of resources among Wisconsin's schools, tackling disparities in educational opportunities head-on. Through proactive measures and inclusive decision-making, we can bridge the resource gap and make sure that every student in Wisconsin has the tools and opportunities to excel academically.

REDUCED CLASS SIZES
Smaller class sizes allow for increased individual attention, fostering stronger connections between teachers and students and creating a more conducive learning environment. I am committed to implementing policies aimed at reducing class sizes in Wisconsin schools to ensure that every student receives the attention and support they need to succeed academically.

MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT
I am committed to implementing strategies that prioritize mental health awareness and support students' social-emotional development in Wisconsin schools. This includes legislation that provides increased counseling services, promotes mental health education, and fosters a positive school climate that values the well-being of every student.

CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION (CTE)
I am dedicated to expanding Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs in Wisconsin high schools to equip students with practical skills and pathways to successful careers in diverse industries. By partnering with local businesses and organizations, we can provide students with valuable opportunities such as internships, apprenticeships, and job-shadowing experiences. These hands-on learning opportunities not only complement classroom instruction but also allow students to explore different career paths and gain real-world experience in their chosen fields.
